Robert Downey, Jr. Welcomes A Baby Girl
Mazel tov! Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife Susan Downey (nee Levin) welcomed their second child on Wednesday and gave her a very Hebrew name. Welcome to the world, Avri Roel!
The couple, who met while filming “Gothika” (he was acting, she was producing) were married in a Jewish-Buddhist ceremony in 2005. The happy father took to Facebook and Twitter to shout out the big news:
Girl Joy!! Avri Roel Downey, 7lbs, 20 in., 3:22 a.m. 11-4-14… Pretty like mama, and dimples like my uncle Jim!

Avri joins the Downeys’ first son, named Exton Elias (born on February 7, 2012), and Downey, Jr.’s 21-year old son Indio (from his first marriage, to singer Deborah Falconer) in the exclusive child-of-Iron-Man club.
