The Maccabeats Are Back With a New Hanukkah Hit

Your favorite Jewish a cappella boys are back — and they’ve brought a frying pan.

The former Yeshiva University students that brought you such hits as and “Cups (D’ror Yikra)” have released a new hit, just in time for Hanukkah. “Latke Recipe,” which premiered on Time.com on Monday, is a parody of Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance With Me” a.k.a. that song you heard at every wedding/party/restaurant/bar/nail salon you went to this summer.

Tonight is Hanukkah
Got everything we need
Good friends and family here to try
Our latke recipe
Best served with applesauce, you see
We’ve got ooh, ooh, ooh
The latke recipe

Oil + flour + applesauce + earworm pop song = Viral holiday tune.

Bonus: the song actually provides some helpful cooking tips for the ultimate crispy latke. Enjoy.
