Meet Leah Block, the Jewish Contestant Who Could Be The Bachelor’s Chosen One
Of the 21 women left vying for the love of Ben Higgins, this season’s Bachelor, one is a member of the Tribe.
Leah Block from Denver, Colorado, is a practicing Jew. Fans of the show may remember the 25-year-old as the contestant who introduced herself to Higgins by hiking a football through her legs — while wearing a gold sequin gown.
Kitschy entrances don’t always work, but in this case it did. Higgins gave Block a rose at the end of the night.
So, who is this nice Jewish girl who could end up married to America’s latest sweetheart? Here’s what we know:
According to Block’s Twitter account, she celebrates both Christmas and Hannukah. The Jewish side of her family lives in New York and she’s posted on social media about visiting them.

Block traveled to Israel in August, 2014, on a Birthright trip. She enjoyed typical Birthright sights like the Western Wall and the Dead Sea, and also posted a picture of herself riding a camel, almost a requirement for every Jew who enjoys the ten-day free trip.
Higgins, on the other hand, is a devout Christian — he even has a tattoo of a Bible verse on his torso. He also went on a trip to Honduras with a church-sponsored organization called Humanity and Hope. If Block makes it far in the season, it will be interesting to see if her religion becomes an issue.
U may think ur not worth it but Im reminded this time every year that God made sure we all started to hear a different story #MerryChristmas

Regardless of whether she ends up finding true love with Higgins, we know Block does stick around long enough to get punched in the face. So there’s that.
