Chris Evans Brilliantly Claps Back At David Duke’s Anti-Semitic Tweet
Chris Evans has been taking white supremacist David Duke down, one eloquent tweet at a time.
The “Captain America” star first butted heads with Duke last week, after the Senate confirmed Jeff Sessions as attorney general.
Duke tweeted out his approval of the confirmation, saying: “Mr. Trump’s appointment of Bannon, Flynn and Sessions are the first steps in the project of taking America back.”

Evans took to Twitter to clap back in alarm. “If David Duke….DAVID!…DUKE!… thinks you’re right, then you are unequivocally wrong. The confirmation of @jeffsessions is beyond words,” he wrote.

Duke proceeded to lash out at the actor, calling him “dumb” and accusing him of advocating for “Zionist wars” (Evans is not Jewish).
Typical dumb actor – if everything I say is wrong, then when I say I oppose these Zionists wars, you must be for them, Captain America!? https://t.co/fsxQHgzdWD

Duke then tweeted out a picture of Evans with a number of actresses, including ex-girlfriend actress Jenny Slate, who is Jewish, and Naomie Harris.
“Why does Chris Evans, who plays the Jewish inspired super hero, Captain America, hate the women of his people so much? #WhiteGenocide,” Duke wrote.

To which Chris Evans responded with a simple message filled with all the lovely goodness.
“I don’t hate them. That’s YOUR method. I love. Try it. It’s stronger than hate. It unites us. I promise it’s in you under the anger and fear,” he tweeted.
