Demonstrating Inexplicably Poor Judgment, Jerry Seinfeld Denies Kesha A Hug
Today in “feminism has a long way to go,” 63-year-old Jerry Seinfeld, whose Wikipedia page says he was “heavily involved in the Bee Movie,” refused a hug from 30-year-old blonde pop star Kesha, perhaps best known for her prolific output of jammin’ summer bops.

HugGate, as I’m going to call it, happened last night at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The video, captured by 94.7 Fresh FM radio host Tommy McFly, shows Kesha asking the legendary comedian for a hug and Seinfeld – in the coldest of blood – denying her. As Kesha walks away, her day ruined, McFly has to tell Seinfeld who he just rejected.
Of course, nothing is sexier than consent but would Seinfeld deny Michelle Obama a hug if asked???? No! And that’s because there are certain people one hugs when asked.
Unfortunately, Seinfeld is about to find out the hard way that Kesha is one of those people. And there’s a big swathe of America I’m willing to bet may not be able to find it in their hearts to forgive him.
How will this end? It’s impossible to know but one thing is for sure – the celebrity feud that I’ve hopefully started by writing this article has only just begun.
