Forward Is Launching A Games Section. Thank Us Later.

If you thought Mahjongg was just for your bubbe in Boca — think again.

We’ve just launched an exciting new games feature on our website. So yes, that’s right. Just as you’re getting your daily fix of Jewish news, you’ll be able to try your hand at an array of 25 Jewish-y games, whether Mahjongg or Solitaire, Bridge or Sudoku — all at forward.com.

“Board games in general, and Mahjongg and Bridge specifically, have a very long and storied history in American Jewish culture,” said Dan Friedman, Executive Editor of the Forward. “We felt that adding them to the Forward site would give our users easy access to a new fun activity.”

The Forward is reader-supported. That means we fund our journalistic activities through subscriptions, donations and advertising. Now, our users have an opportunity to play (for free, of course) while helping support our journalistic mission.

So check out the action at games.forward.com. You’ll thank us later.

I hope you appreciated this article. Before you go, I’d like to ask you to please support the Forward’s award-winning, nonprofit journalism during this critical time.

Now more than ever, American Jews need independent news they can trust, with reporting driven by truth, not ideology. We serve you, not any ideological agenda.

At a time when other newsrooms are closing or cutting back, the Forward has removed its paywall and invested additional resources to report on the ground from Israel and around the U.S. on the impact of the war, rising antisemitism and the protests on college campuses.

Readers like you make it all possible. Support our work by becoming a Forward Member and connect with our journalism and your community.

Make a gift of any size and become a Forward member today. You’ll support our mission to tell the American Jewish story fully and fairly.
