Sit Down, Shut Up, And Watch Rudy Giuliani Partying In Jerusalem

I don’t care if you think Rudy Giuliani is the last sane man in America or a baldheaded minion of Satan: there is something for everyone to enjoy in this clip of the former Mayor of New York City partying at a Jerusalem restaurant.

In a clip posted to Twitter by Yael Friedson, a writer for Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot, Giuliani waves a napkin in the air as a woman dances on a table. The American President’s personal lawyer is in Israel for the Globes capital market conference in Tel Aviv where he spoke today, but he still found time to stop by a restaurant in Jerusalem’s bustling market, Mahane Yehuda. In the video the politician, having apparently thrown off his suit jacket, throws down as a bevy of youthful Israeli waitstaff clap. Giuliani demonstrates that he knows a single, if effective dance move, which he performs with stolid commitment throughout the clip.

Love him or leave him, the video is a delight. As if performing in a variety show, the politician went on to say in today’s conference that corruption accusations against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu are a “joke.” Then, for his final act, the Times of Israel reports that Giuliani told the audience that as Mayor of New York, he used to reward supporters by giving them jobs.
