Watch Billy Joel And Bruce Springsteen Sing ‘Born To Run’ At Joel’s 100th Garden Show

Billy Joel played the 100th performance of his Madison Square Garden residency on Wednesday night. Celebrating a momentous occasion is better with a friend, so Billy brought one of his — Bruce Springsteen.

The two legends celebrated their success with a rendition of Springsteen’s “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out” — Joel on the piano, the Boss literally on the piano, sitting gamely on the grand instrument with a microphone to his lips like a lounge sister. Springsteen then grabbed a guitar and the friends joined together in a performance of “Born to Run.”

Joel’s monthly engagement at the Garden, which has made him the venues greatest repeat performer ever, is set to continue into December at least. Joel and Springsteen’s friendship is set to continue into eternity.
