Tell Us Your Voting Story
We here at the Forward are deeply passionate about voting — as Jane Eisner wrote eloquently here — and we want to hear your stories!
We’d love to hear from you about your Election Day experience.
What are you doing to celebrate voting this year? How are you celebrating the first vote of someone in your home, school, synagogue, and community? Why is voting important to you, as an American Jew? Any interesting ways that your community is honoring a first-time voter — an aliyah in synagogue, a party, online accolades, etc? Did something funny, interesting, meaningful, or thought-provoking happen to you, when you went to vote?
Tell us your voting stories, with photo or video.
Post your voting story on social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) with the hashtag #TheJewishVote (and don’t forget to make it public!) — or email your story to us at community@forward.com by November 10 with the words “Vote 2018” in the subject line.
We’ll share our readers’ most memorable stories later that week.
We look forward to hearing from you — and happy voting!
