Production for the highly-anticipated “Wonder Woman 1984” has ended, Gal Gadot revealed on Instagram.

The Israeli actress uploaded a few shots from the filming of the “Wonder Woman” sequel on Sunday, along with a touching message for the cast, crew, and fans of the box office hit.

Gal Gadot’s “Wonder Woman” was the 2017’s highest-grossing film of the summer, garnering enthusiasts across the globe, and Gadot made sure to praise them in this Instagram post. She dedicated her work on the sequel to the film’s vehement fan base, saying: “It was you that made me push myself every day.”

She made sure to throw in a shoutout for the sequel’s renowned director, Patty Jenkins, who also worked on the original film with Gadot. “Wonder Woman 1984” will feature Gal Gadot confronting a new enemy, played by Kristen Wiig. Chris Pine, Wonder Woman’s dreamy object of affection, will appear in the 2020 film as well.

Wonder Woman fans, stay tuned for the release on June 5, 2020. Only 527 days away, but who’s counting?

Gal Gadot and her husband, Yaron Versano, are now co-producing a movie about Fidel Castro.
