Andrew Rehfeld

President & CEO

The Jewish Federation of St. Louis works to enrich, preserve and unify the region’s Jewish community. Its annual community campaign is the Federation’s main source of funds, which help support 30 local and 21 national agencies, services and programs. As part of its mission to facilitate the St. Louis community’s engagement with Israel, it established a sister-city partnership with Yokneam-Megiddo, southeast of Haifa.

Before being appointed president and CEO of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis in 2013, Andrew Rehfeld was an associate professor of political science at Washington University. He also served as the university’s director of undergraduate studies for the political science department and as chairman of the undergraduate disciplinary body. During his tenure there, Rehfeld served as a board and executive committee member of the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Hillel. He holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Chicago.
