The American Associates of Ben Gurion University of the Negev serves as a philanthropic arm to Be’er Sheva’s crown jewel university. Established in 1969, the university was founded to promote the development of southern Israel. Ben Gurion University houses internationally renowned institutes in biotechnology and desert studies.
