A Bronx native, Jason Shames has been the CEO and executive vice president of the UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey since 2011. Before his appointment as CEO, Shames served as chief development officer at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington for three years, during which time he was responsible for overseeing the Federation’s fundraising efforts. Prior to that, he was professionally involved with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County for seven years.
