Born in Israel in 1971, Shai Azoulay lives and works in Jerusalem. He received both his BFA and MFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem. In 2011, Azoulay’s first major museum show was held at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, followed by shows in New York, London, Tokyo, Vienna, Chicago, and Cleveland. Azoulay has received awards, including the “Mozes” Prize from the Jerusalem Artist house and the Ministry of Education Grant for Artist Teacher Projects.
