THANKS TO ALL WHO JOINED US!
This event was recorded and is available to readers of the Forward.
Audiences first met Julia Haart, a former Jewish studies teacher-turned-business mogul, when My Unorthodox Life debuted in the summer of 2021. The reality series followed her journey after leaving the Orthodox community and flourishing in the world of high-fashion. The show sparked much debate among American Jews, and some disagreed with Haart’s characterizations of Orthodox life.
But the new season offers something different. Haart finds herself forced to start over once again, in the midst of a bitter divorce from Silvio Scaglia, her husband and business partner.
Join us for an exclusive Zoom conversation with Julia and her son Shlomo, who also appears on the show to discuss the new season and what has happened since filming ended.
This event will be moderated by Benyamin Cohen, the Forward’s News Director, and Laura E. Adkins, the Forward’s Opinion Editor.
