The Greenbrier Resort, located in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, has a long and complicated history. During World War II, the Greenbrier was used by the U.S. government to detain Axis diplomats, including some high-ranking Nazi officials. Join the Museum of Jewish Heritage for a virtual panel discussion about this little-known history featuring Benyamin Cohen, senior writer at the Forward, Harvey Solomon, author of Such Splendid Prisons: Diplomatic Detainment in America During World War II, and Dr. Robert Conte, The Greenbrier’s former Historian.
This event is presented by the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.
