Ways to support the Forward
By donating to the Forward, you’re investing in courageous reporting, cultural celebration, and an independent voice on the issues that matter most to the American Jewish community.
Giving Through Donor Advised Funds
An easy way to support the Forward is through a donor advised fund (DAF). A DAF is a charitable giving vehicle that allows individuals to donate funds into a charitable account and make recommendations on where the funds should be allocated. This is a wonderful way to donate cash or securities now, receive a current charitable deduction and distribute your gift to the Forward over time.
If you are interested in making a recommendation of a DAF gift to the Forward, please contact Lisa Lepson, VP of Development at [email protected] or call 646.248.6406.

DAF gifts can be directed to The Forward Association, Fed ID# 13-0623590, 125 Maiden Lane, 8th Floor, New York, NY, 10038
Giving Through Appreciated Assets/Securities
Donating appreciated assets such as stock and mutual funds that have increased in value from when they were initially purchased are a wonderful way for donors to make a current gift to the Forward. You can donate the securities directly to the Forward and receive an immediate charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities, bypassing paying capital gains on the appreciation of the asset.
