David Fisher President

Birthright Israel has provided Jewish youth between the ages of 18 and 26 with free trips to Israel for a 10-day guided tour of the Holy Land for the past 14 years. According to Birthright's website, since 1999 it has sponsored over 350,000 trips to Israel for Jewish youth from across the globe, with the goal of strengthening Jewish identity and the relationship between Jews and Israel.

David Fisher has served as president of Birthright Israel since 2012. A native of Ohio, Fisher has extensive business experience and involvement with Jewish nonprofit organizations. Notably, he launched an effort to re-establish a new Cincinnati Jewish Federation/Jewish Community Center project, raising $45 million dollars. He was also involved with the United Jewish Community/Jewish Federation of North America from 2003 until 2009, and was the group's youngest National Campaign chair.
