Howard Reich is the Emmy-winning author of six books, including “The Art of Inventing Hope: Intimate Conversations with Elie Wiesel” and “Prisoner of Her Past: A Son’s Memoir.” He’s also writer/producer of three documentaries, including the PBS-broadcast film “Prisoner of Her Past” (based on his book), and covered the arts for the Chicago Tribune from 1978 to 2021.
