Julie Moos joined the Forward in June 2024 as managing editor for audience. Previously, she worked as an editor and educator at news organizations and nonprofits around the country, including as executive editor and vice president at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs; executive director of the National Press Club Journalism Institute; managing director of news at McClatchy; and director of Poynter Online at the Poynter Institute. Moos has served on the boards of Resolve Philly, and The Power Shift Project at the Freedom Forum, and she was a Sulzberger Executive Leadership Fellow at Columbia University.
