Simone Saidmehr is an editorial fellow at the Forward. She previously served as a research assistant at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where she worked on the Koret Project for Arab-Israeli Relations. Originally from New York City, she is a graduate of the dual bachelor’s program between Columbia University and Tel Aviv University, where she studied Middle Eastern studies and political science.
