Make the Forward a preferred source in your Google Search results

Get the news from sources you trust

Now, when you look for information through a Google search, you can be sure you’re getting information from trusted news sources and not misinformation. Google has launched its Preferred Sources tool, offering a way to get news from the publishers you trust the most.

To set the Forward as a Preferred Source of information, simply go to this link and click the checkbox next to ‘The Forward.”

By selecting the Forward as a Preferred News source, Google will prioritize stories from our pages in your “Top Stories” results. It will also provide a new “From Your Sources” box that curates content from the publishers you select.

For example: a search for “Antisemitism News” showed these stories once the Forward was selected as a Preferred Source:

And a search for “Israel News” showed results from the Forward under “From your sources.”

If you value the Forward’s coverage on all the topics you search for – don’t leave the results up to the algorithm alone. Choose us in your Preferred Sources.
