A teacher at a private school in Scotland will have a disciplinary hearing for reportedly making anti-Semitic and other inappropriate comments during class.
“Hitler was not all bad — he killed the Jews,” religious education teacher David McNally told high school students at the Kilwinning Academy in Ayrshire, according to The Herald Scotland. He also made inappropriate sexual comments to the students. McNally will go before the General Teaching Council for Scotland next week.
The inappropriate comments were made on Nov. 1, 2012, according to the newspaper, which reported that McNally is facing a lifetime ban from teaching and working with children and young adults.
