VIDEO: Jewish Man, Muslim Woman Booted From Donald Trump Rally

A Muslim woman and a Jewish immigration lawyer were booted from a Donald Trump rally in South Carolina Friday night for standing in silent protest.

Both Rose Hamid and Marty Rosenbluth wore yellow Holocaust stars of David with the word “Muslim” written on them to protest what they say is the Republican candidate’s spread of Islamophobia.

Hamid also had on a green shirt that said, “Salam. I come in peace.”

We are all out and safe. Once again we got them to disrupt their own rally. We were standing there quietly and they started shouting. It went onfor about 15 minutos. They should have let us stand.

Posted by Marty Rosenbluth on Friday, January 8, 2016

Both she and Rosenbluth stood up at one point during Trump’s speech but said nothing.

Still, their protest was not allowed and Trump had security oust the pair.

Rosenbluth noted that their ouster caused more of a spectacle.

“We are all out and safe. Once again we got them to disrupt their own rally,” he said on Facebook. “We were standing there quietly and they started shouting. It went on for about 15 minutes. They should have let us stand.”

Hamid appeared on CNN over the weekend to say things got ugly quick.

The 56-year-old flight attendant said one person in the crowd yelled she had a bomb and she blamed Trump’s “hateful rhetoric” for the reaction.

Trump has previously called for a ban on Muslims entering the country,.

“I figured that most Trump supporters probably never met a Muslim so I figured that I’d give them the opportunity to meet one,” she told CNN.

She and Rosenbluth were praised on his Facebook page.

‎Monona Yin‎ wrote: “Just saw you on CNN. Brilliant and brave. You made a powerful point.”

Trump says he is the victim: “There is hatred against us that is unbelievable …It’s their hatred. It’s not our hatred.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) demanded Trump apologize.’

“The image of a Muslim woman being abused and ejected from a political rally sends a chilling message to American Muslims,” the group said in a statement.
