Did Donald Trump’s white supremacist problem just get a little bit smaller? A KKK leader has just retracted his endorsement of Trump and conferred it instead on Hillary Clinton, according to the Telegraph.
Will Quigg, a Grand Dragon in California, had emphatically endorsed @realDonaldTrump on Twitter in September, calling Trump his great white hope.
But Trump’s hair—and secret sources of information who say Clinton is a closet gun rights supporter—compelled him to change his mind.
“We don’t like his hair,” Quigg said of The Donald. to The Telegraph. “We think it’s a toupee. He won’t do what he says he will do. He says he’s going to build a 20-foot high fence along the border with Mexico and make them pay. How’s he going to do that.”
Clinton, however, will enact more stringent border policies and defend gun rights, according to the secret source that Quigg won’t reveal.
She has yet to thank Quigg for the compliment. He probably made his statement more to protect the Trump campaign from white supremacist associations, said an analyst quoted by the Telegraph, Brian Levin of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University in San Bernardino.
