Large Swastika Painted on Home in South Jersey
— A large swastika was painted on a home in southern New Jersey.
The swastika was discovered Wednesday morning in suburban Mount Laurel, about 17 miles from Philadelphia, the Jewish Exponent reported. Police believe the Nazi symbol was painted on the house sometime after 10 the night before.
The family was not named, but a New Jersey radio station reported that the homeowner said she believed the family was targeted because her husband is Jewish. Also, there were pro-police signs on their lawn, according to the radio report.
Local police are investigating the incident.
