Jerry Nadler’s ‘Not Ready to Talk About Impeachment’ — Yet
In a Monday interview on MSNBC, Congressman Jerry Nadler said that he wasn’t ready to talk about impeaching President Donald Trump, who was inaugurated in mid-January.
“We don’t really know if there are any impeachable offenses,” Nadler said. “I’m not ready to talk about impeachment.”
Nadler, who represents more Jews than any other member of Congress, was on the cable channel to discuss a resolution he had introduced in the House asking the Department of Justice for information on “any criminal or counterintelligence investigation” of Trump or his close advisers, among other things.
Nadler said that the information procured by the resolution could lead to new revelations.
“If it were shown that Trump was colluding with the Russians to help them try to effect our election, that would raise very serious questions,” Nadler said.
