Jared And Ivanka Make Time’s 100 Most Influential

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump were listed among the 100 most influential people in 2017 according to Time magazine’s annual list.
The daughter and son-in-law of the president are listed in the “Pioneers” section, which also includes late-night host Samantha Bee and pro-Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour.
Wendi Murdoch, producer and former wife of Rupert Murdoch, wrote about her friendship with Ivanka. “I am deeply impressed by her courage to leave behind life as she knew it and move her young family to Washington to pursue positive change,” she wrote.
Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger wrote more impersonally about Jared Kushner. Kissinger wrote of the knowledge gap between new presidents and the responsibilities of the job and went on to list Kushner’s professional credentials. “All this should help him make a success of his daunting role flying close to the sun,” he concludes.
President Trump was also named one of the most influential people. He is listed in the “Leaders” section, as are Theresa May, Elizabeth Warren, and Stephen Bannon among others.
