The Hottest Israeli Band You Don’t Know Just Dropped A New Single

It’s impossible not to fall in love with Jane Bordeaux.
The Israeli band has become a wild success in their home country with their song “Eich Efshar” (“How is it possible..not to fall in love”) landing the most-played spot on Israel’s most popular radio stations last year. The gorgeous claymation music video for their song “Ma’agalim” (Circles) has been shared 1.6 million times. And next month, they plan to make their break in America.
The trio — Doron Talmon, Amir Zeevi, and Mati Gilad — call their band’s unique vibe “acoustic folk-country style music in Hebrew.” It’s an addictive sound, even to a Hebrew novice—alternatively adorable, joyful, and poignant. Between the three of them they play guitar, ukulele, double bass, and percussion, with Talmon on lead vocals.
In advance of their first New York City concert, at Rockwood Music Club in New York on May 3rd, the trio has been teasing songs from their sophomore album. Their stirring new single, “Rotza Livkot” (I Want to Cry) dropped on Youtube yesterday. Listen below — we dare you not to fall in love.
