Donald Trump Jr. Cites Alan Dershowitz Tweets To Defend Dad During Comey Hearing

Donald Trump didn’t live-tweet James Comey’s appearance before a Senate committee today. But his son, Donald Trump Jr. is — and he quoted famed Jewish lawyer Alan Dershowitz at great length.
Dershowitz has emerged in recent days as something of a defender of Trump’s conduct in connection with Comey and the Russia inquiry. On Twitter today and on television this week, he repeatedly argued that Trump had the constitutional authority to fire Comey, and that doing so did not constitute obstruction of justice.

Today, Trump Jr. has effectively turned his feed over to Dershowitz’s critiques of and questions about Comey.
