City Of Milwaukee Pulls Advertising From Breitbart
The tourism bureau for the city of Milwaukee announced Wednesday that it will pull advertising from Breitbart because of its connection to the neo-Nazi movement, according to HillReporter.com.
The account of Visit Milwaukee, a tourism bureau that promotes events and attractions in Wisconsin’s biggest city, was receiving tweets condemning its choice to advertise on Breitbart’s website. The bureau addressed this on social media, explaining that it does not support the site’s views — the company didn’t know the far-right news outlet was included in its advertising package. Visit Milwaukee also promised that it will contact its advertising agency immediately to ensure Breitbart will no longer be supported by their ads.
We were not aware of this and are contacting our agency immediately. Thank you for letting us know!

We are on it – this is definitely not a placement that reflects the values of our organization or our city.
