Founded during the second intifada in 2001, StandWithUs strives to inform the public about Israel and dispel what it sees as discriminatory, anti-Semitic views of the Jewish state. StandWithUs has sponsored public relations trips to Israel, trained Israel advocates, and produced a variety of videos and publications about Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It manages a campus program and has fought Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaigns on campuses and elsewhere. StandWithUs is based in Los Angeles and oversees 17 offices and chapters around the world.

Roz Rothstein is the CEO of StandWithUs. Rothstein worked for the Westside Jewish Community Center for 10 years and served on the boards of several Jewish organizations. A native of Los Angeles, Rothstein is the child of Holocaust survivors. Rothstein holds a degree in psychology and worked as a family therapist for over two decades in California.
