the sound
of my thinking

invisible thought
as we move

& separate
down industrial streets
hidden in all
revealed in all
each reaching out
to another
stranger in despair
foreigners
displaced people

unrecognized
tagged as alien
alone
all one
no other
of you

beauty exiled
banished in bitter
