Ken Stein Details His Case Against Carter
Kenneth Stein, the Emory University professor who resigned as a Middle East fellow at the Carter Center last December, just published his scathing analysis of “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid” in the spring, 2007 edition of Middle East Quarterly.
Carter’s book, Stein writes, “contains egregious errors of both commission and omission. To suit his desired ends, [Carter] manipulates information, redefines facts, and exaggerates conclusions.”
Particularly interesting is Stein’s description of Carter’s psychology, including his allegedly inflated assessment “that he himself was the essential ingredient to enable the Egyptian-Israeli peace.”
