Jewish Woman Stabbed to Death in Brooklyn
A Jewish accountant was stabbed to death in a mysterious attack as she walked home in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, news reports said.
Larisa Komsky, 50, was killed while walking home after parking her car on Homecrest Avenue before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Komsky was stabbed twice in the leg and once in the hand, police said. She was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.
Neighbors described Komsky as a friendly woman, who went to shul regularly on her block. An accountant, she ran her own business a couple of miles from her home.
Police told the Daily News they had no motive for the crime.
