Zuckerberg ‘Likes’ Peres in Silicon Valley
President Shimon Peres was hosted as the guest of honor on Tuesday at the Facebook headquarters in Silicon Valley, for the celebratory launch of his international Facebook page, together with the founder of the social network, Mark Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg was expected to be the first Facebook user to press ‘like’ on Peres’ page, from his own personal computer.
The festivities began at 9 A.M. P.S.T.) with a live press conference with web surfers from around the world. Peres and Zuckerberg will launch the page officially at 10 A.M. P.S.T..
The Israeli president has invited Facebook users around the world to ‘like’ his page and post their own suggestions for advancing world peace.
