The legislature in Bahrain has appointed a Jewish female parliamentarian to serve as deputy chairwoman of the foreign affairs, defense and national security committee.
Nancy Khedouri, the third Jewish Bahraini to be appointed to the upper chamber of Bahrain’s legislature, was selected on Sunday by her fellow lawmakers to serve in the position, according to the Gulf News.
