Do we walk our talk? How do each of us help make a difference in the world and not just participate as bystanders? Now more than ever.
The primary elections for local government are held today in NYC. Historically, less than 15% of the population votes in these primaries although this privilege has major impact on our lives. The vote includes many candidates for public office and requires education that for many of us seems daunting or “I’m just too busy.” Honestly, I didn’t vote last time. But that’s no longer acceptable. Today, just half way through our Prepent journey, we get to cast our vote for our integrity and accountability. Not just in the ballot. Am I helpful citizen? What can I do this year ahead for the sake of a better community, city, and country? World?
