Hadani Ditmars is a journalist in Vancouver who has been reporting from the Middle East on culture and politics for three decades. She is the author of the 2005 memoir Dancing in the No-Fly Zone: A Woman’s Journey Through Iraq, and the forthcoming Between Two Rivers, a travelogue of ancient sites in Iraq.
