Israeli Lone Soldier From U.S. Goes Missing
An Israeli lone soldier from the United States has been missing for two days, according to police.
David Menachem Gordon, 21, was last seen at a military base in central Israel on Sunday at around noon, The Jerusalem Post reported. Gordon, from the Givati Brigade, was wearing his military uniform and its purple beret, and carrying an assault rifle, Israel Police said.
Police said he speaks Hebrew with an American accent.
Gordon, who entered the Israeli army in August 2013, writes a blog about his experiences in the military.
