JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Israel Defense Forces tank attacked a Hamas post in the southern Gaza Strip in response to rockets fired on southern Israel.
The IDF attack came early Monday morning, after two rocket attacks on Israel from southern Gaza, one late on Sunday evening and one on Sunday morning. Both rockets fell in open areas and did not cause any damage, according to the IDF.
The Code Red siren alerts were not sounded since both rockets were heading toward unpopulated areas.
