Trump Vows To Gorka After Ouster: ‘I’m Sticking To My Agenda’
Ousted White House adviser Sebastian Gorka lamented in his parting salvo that: “forces that do not support the (Make America Great Again) promise are – for now – ascendant within the White House.” But speaking to Fox News on Tuesday, Gorka said he received a reassuring message from Trump.
“He also said ‘I am sticking to the agenda.’ He is sticking to his agenda and he wants me to help him from the outside especially in the media to support him and that’s exactly what I’m going to do,” Gorka said.
The ex-counter terrorism adviser added that Trump is a “fighter” and that “Sooner or later the right people are going to be around him.”
Trump’s friendly goodbye call to Gorka and his request that the embattled adviser keep helping from the outside, seem to contrast with the manner in which Gorka was shown the door Friday.
According to MSNBC the Secret Service, in an unusual alert to all White House staffers, made clear that Gorka was placed on the Do Not Admit list and that his pass was revoked. In a second email, White House employees were warned: “Staff, do not admit Gorka.”
Gorka and ousted politico supremo Steve Bannon have vowed to wage a campaign against so-called “globalists” in the White House, including Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
