Nussbaum and Wu, a venerable Upper West Side New York City bagel joint, has mysteriously closed its doors. A recent health inspection reported that its hygiene was…not the greatest.
A sign was posted to the door declaring alleged owner Shlomi Sela (who is, notably, neither a Nussbaum nor a Wu) to have “failed the community at Columbia University and all his vendors,” calling him “a disgrace to the business community” and posting his number. Then the plot thickened as the sign was taken down.
According to BWOG, the Columbia student newspaper, we may have seen the last of the great Nussbaum and Wu, as another once-proud bagel shop crumbles to its knees.
