Swastika, Feces Found In Kent State Building

Police are investigating vandalism found in one of the buildings at Kent State University, which involved a swastika and feces, Kentwired.com reported.
Custodians found on Monday morning a swastika drawn on a glass window, waste on the floor and broken microwaves in the lounges of the Ohio university’s Satterfield Hall, where the English department resides.
Kent State Police believe the incident occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday and said the extent of the “criminal damage” is unclear. A Kent State spokesperson told Fox 8 Cleveland that campus police are categorizing the incident as “mischievous criminal damaging.”
“We are shocked to hear about this act of hate, vandalism, and anti-Semitism that occurred on our campus,” the director of Kent State Hillel, Adam Hirsh, said in a statement. “Jewish students, parents and friends are encouraged to reach out to our staff if they need a listening ear or have questions during this difficult time. We are in communication with our partners at Kent State, the ADL, and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland to combat this hate and ensure an action like this does not occur ever again. Hillel at Kent State condemns this and all acts of anti-Semitism.”
