Note Attacking Omar For ‘Jew Hatred’ Left On Tlaib’s Office Door

A visitor leaving an anti-Muslim note at the U.S. Capitol got a bit confused on Tuesday.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a freshman Democrat from Michigan, tweeted a picture Tuesday evening of a sticky note left on her office door addressed to Rep. Ilhan Omar, a freshman Democrat from Minnesota.
“Rep. Omar, Stop your disgusting Jew hatred,” the note began. “Your Jihad against the Jews will fail.”
Both Tlaib and Omar are Muslim, and are the nation’s first two Muslim congresswomen.
Tuesday was the AIPAC conference’s lobbying day, when thousands of AIPAC members traveled to Capitol Hill to meet with elected officials.
“This is the hateful rhetoric & bullying on my door today,” Tlaib tweeted. “Stop the fear mongering & blantant lies.”

Omar has been in a heated war of words with AIPAC, and her comments criticizing the group, which many saw as anti-Semitic, made her the target of repeated criticism during the three-day AIPAC conference that began on Sunday, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.
