Overthrowing Jews is ‘Christian duty’: FBI arrests author of anti-Semitic posts on weapons charge

The FBI arrested two Queens men Wednesday, both of whom purchased illegal firearms and one of whom published anti-Semitic social media posts.

The two men, Joseph Miner, 29, and Daniel Jou, 40, bought weapons from an undercover FBI agent in Queens. Miner had previously written posts praising Hitler and last year’s Monsey stabbing on Instagram.

“ngl [not gonna lie] this is pretty fucking exciting,” he captioned the Monsey post.

At one point, he also wrote “overthrowing [Jews] is our Christian duty” on Instagram.

In January, he posted a photograph of a Jewish Community Center in Queens. That same month, he purchased body armor stamped with a Nazi symbol. He also posted photos of himself giving a Nazi salute.

The two men, both from Bayside, purchased shotguns, handguns, assault rifles and magazines from the undercover agent in a hotel room near LaGuardia Airport. Both men were arrested as they left the building with the weapons.

The two men appeared virtually in Brooklyn federal court Wednesday and were ordered detained while they wait for their trial.

Miner at times said on Instagram that he was not interested in planning his own attack.
