Treyf, But a Hoot All the Same
Hooters, the American restaurant chain known primarily for its scantily clad waitresses, announced this week that, come summer, it would be expanding into the Holy Land.
Ofer Ahiraz, owner of the Atlanta-based company’s new Israeli franchise, said that he plans to open his first branch in Tel Aviv with the possibility of more to follow. The restaurant, Ahiraz added helpfully, will not be kosher.
