Dallas Federation Marks Century of Service
The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas will mark its 100th anniversary with a citywide day of community service.
The Got Mitzvah? Day will involve some 3,000 local residents who are set to collectively volunteer on Oct. 30 at more than 70 area community locations, including shelters, hospitals, schools and non-profit organizations.
“There is no better way to represent the noble work of our hundred-year history in Dallas than to bring so many people together to help others,” said Susan Kramer, the federation’s president and chief executive officer.
