Rockets Fired From Sinai Hit S. Israel
Two long-range Grad missiles that landed in southern Israel likely were fired from Egypt’s Sinai. The two rockets landed in open areas near Mitzpe Ramon and Ovda, near Eilat, late on Friday night, and their remains were discovered on Saturday. No one was injured in the attacks. Unnamed security sources told Israeli media that the launches likely occurred in the Sinai peninsula, to coincide with the opening of polls in the presidential runoff election in Egypt. In April, three long-range Grad rockets were fired at Eilat from Sinai.
