Rockets Fired From Sinai Hit S. Israel

Unnamed security sources told Israeli media that the launches likely occurred in the Sinai peninsula, to coincide with the opening of polls in the presidential runoff election in Egypt. In April, three long-range Grad rockets were fired at Eilat from Sinai.
